Interactions
Interaction refers to the two-way communication that occurs between you and the computer program. Interactions are activities that require you to answer questions, make selections, or choose from a list of options.
The activity symbol
appears on the page when you are expected to do something. Instructions on the page explain what you should do to perform the activity.
Exercises are included in each lesson. An exercise is just one example of an interaction. These exercises often require you to do some reading and then answer a specific question. You select your answer by clicking on the radio button associated with the option you believe to be correct and then clicking on a Submit button. If you are not using a mouse, you may use the Tab key on your keyboard to highlight the first radio button (IE users). Press the spacebar to select it, or use the left and right arrow keys to select a different radio button. (Mozilla/Firefox users must Tab to each radio button and press the spacebar to select one.)
A keyboard shortcut for the Submit button is provided for persons who are not using a mouse. To submit your answer, press and hold the Alt key, then press the S key.
In most cases, you will receive feedback regarding your selection after you click on the Submit button.
