Grievance Procedure

The PS&T Contract establishes a grievance procedure to resolve differences that are not or may not be appropriate for the Labor/Management Committee process.

Sometimes, a grievance may be the first line of defense against an "act or omission that violates specific contract language." However, Article 34.4 encourages an employee or PEF to resolve disputes informally with the appropriate immediate supervisor before filing a grievance.

Be aware of the 30 calendar day time frame when considering filing a grievance. Untimely grievances will be denied without regard to the merits of the issue under discussion. When time is of the essence, file the grievance.
