No Discrimination

In Article 36–No Discrimination–both PEF and the State agree not to discriminate based on race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age or handicap.

In addition, the State agrees not to discriminate against employees who exercise their rights as guaranteed by the Public Employees Fair Employment Act (the Taylor Law). These rights include joining a union, participating in a union, and such things as filing grievances.
