Filing Complaints

Employees who experience retaliation for their union activity can file an Improper Practice charge.

Allegations of other types of discrimination are appropriately addressed by filing complaints with the NYS Division of Human Rights (DHR) or the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Use either of these resources rather than the contract grievance process.
