Help - Accessibility Features

Courses in the PEF Training Center are designed to be accessible to persons with disabilities. Accessibility features include keyboard shortcuts for the main navigational elements as follows:

  • Main Menu - press and hold the Alt key and then press the M key*
  • Course Map - press and hold the Alt key and then press the C key*
  • Resources - press and hold the Alt key and then press the R key*
  • Help - press and hold the Alt key and then press the P key*
  • Exit - press and hold the Alt key and then press the X key*

The Back and Next buttons also have keyboard shortcuts:

  • Back - press and hold the Alt key and then press the B key*
  • Next - press and hold the Alt key and then press the N key*

The keyboard shortcut for the Submit button is - press and hold the Alt key and then press the S key.

Keyboard users may use the Tab key Tab key to navigate to selectable regions of any web page. After "tabbing" to a selection, press the Enter key to activate that selection. If your browser is Internet Explorer and you are answering a question that involves radio buttons, you may "tab" to the first radio button and press the spacebar to select it. You can select a different radio button by using the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard. If your browser is Mozilla or Firefox, you may "tab" to each radio button and press the spacebar to select one. Use the Submit button or its keyboard shortcut only when you wish to submit your answer, or Press the Enter key.

*NOTE: Internet Explorer Users - you must press the Enter key after you have initiated a keyboard shortcut.
