Introduction to Lesson 2

In this lesson, you will first read a vignette about George, a steward just "getting his feet wet" with his new responsibilities. This first story illustrates principles of leadership coupled with some key techniques in “active listening.” This story is followed by objectives for the lesson, which consists of several topics (represented by the buttons on the left) with explanatory content.

Next, a case study provides context to material that is covered in the buttons, and acts as a review of some key points and ideas. It also provides an example of a steward actually using his/her skills. Following the case study, you will have the opportunity to assess your progress, and to read a brief summary of the lesson.
