Becoming a Good Steward starts with a commitment to providing service, building union power, and a dedication to lifelong learning. Each steward who serves his or her union can always work towards improving their skills through experience, mentoring, and training.
Stewards also know that grooming others for service as leaders and stewards is a powerful organizing tool for building the union’s power.
