“Sure. You know, workplace violence and security are concerns all across the union. If you and I work together on this, I bet we could make some changes right here.”
“That would be great. How can I help?”
Kate smiled. “You know, just talking about the things that make you nervous is a really great start. Let’s talk to our fellow union members and find out who else is concerned. And then let’s meet and discuss what we learn. I’m sure you’re not alone!”
Sharon looked relieved. “It’s a deal! Lunch, same time, next week?”
