Never Too Late
Like many state facilities, Up-State Psychiatric Center is plagued with understaffing, lack of competitive salaries, and mandatory overtime (MOT). Mandated overtime-coupled with the other issues-has had a very negative effect on all of the nurses. In fact, almost every nurse at the facility puts in some amount of mandated overtime each week. The nurses feel underappreciated, overworked, and have become irate.
